| Co-Extrusion | The extrusion or two or more polymers at the same time which are then layed together to produce a single film. Recognisable as different colours on either side of the polythene. |

| Die Line | A line of weakness (seam) in the film caused by a piece of contamination caught in the die during extrusion. Often difficult to spot, the film will tear easily along this seam under pressure. |
