We at Oscar Products love the environment

River Stour At SudburyWhen you are based in the depths of Constable country, with lush green fields on one side and the rolling Stour Valley on the other you can’t help but get out there and enjoy what we have been gifted.
In fact the reason we don’t work 7 days a week is so that we can get out into the wilds and take part in all manner of outdoor leisure activities.
So please leave a message if we are out cycling, fishing, walking, or even farming (yep we’ve got that in our veins too)

So how do we sleep at night when we sell packaging materials that at the moment are getting some bad press?
Well, we look at the facts and know that both business and the environment must work hand in hand to survive.
We also know that if you want to do the right thing then we can find the right product to help your greener side. From moving materials to changing your business strategy we can advise you on the options and the results of your packaging needs, thus caring for the environment and making it a better place.

We Even Have An Environmental Officer

When you think of Alpacas you probably think of South American or other countries in that area, you do not generally think of Suffolk. Yet for many months Oscar Products have been observing a growing number of animals at a local farm in Long Melford. After incorrectly identifying them as Llamas we were informed that it was the beginning of an Alpaca Farm run by Paul Rylott.

Paul is also very aware of environmental issues and so only wanted to use local companies in his business trading. He approached Oscar Products to help him with his packaging needs; probably best to mention that the finished products required packaging not the Alpacas.

Oscar The AlpacaOn one of his visits into our office he set the challenge of creating a gift pack and adoption certificate to customers, having settled on a rustic jute based bag we questioned the adoption programme.
With only one male left in the herd to be named the decision around the office was unanimous; adopt.

So may we now present Oscar The Alpaca, the newest member to the Oscar Products team. He will be joining the company as our Environmental Officer. Oscar brings to the table many months of field research, his knowledge of the environment is unrivaled and only topped by his warm cuddly exterior.
